Names for Cats
Cats tick differently from dogs: independent, elegant and with a mind of their own. That’s exactly why cat names can be more imaginative – from classic beauties like Luna and Bella to typical cat names like Kitty, Nala, Binx or Shadow. The name should suit the little character who will soon rule your home.
How to Choose the Name
With cats you don’t have to worry about training commands, so you have a free hand. Popular choices are names based on coat colour (for black, tabby or cream cats, for example), on character (cuddly, wild, dignified) or on big names from mythology and pop culture. Short names with bright vowels are the most likely to catch your cat’s attention.
