International Baby Names
Hawaiian Names
In recent years, Hawaiian baby names have gained popularity across the United States, particularly among girls. Names that conclude with -lani have seen a notable rise in use, largely due to the renewed interest in the name Leilani. This trend has even led some parents to invent pseudo-Hawaiian names for their daughters, as seen with Jenni "JWOWW" Farley's choice of Meilani. As global awareness increases, parents from the mainland US and elsewhere are becoming more acquainted with Hawaiian names.
